Don Revie’s Leeds United team won their second League title in 1973-74. The Whites (so nicknamed after Revie changed their strip to emulate Real Madrid) consistently challenged for honours between the mid-1960s and his departure to manage England in 1974, but failed to dominate due to their tendency to lose finals and other crucial matches.
