1980-1990

LiverpoolSquad1989-1990Liverpool, under player-manager Kenny Dalglish, won their 18th League title in 1989-90 after the ‘boot room’ that promoted Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan and Dalglish to the Anfield hot seat proved phenomenally successful, dominating English football in the late 1970s and 1980s, and winning four European Cups. However, this remains their last English League championship.
